SHAKA Foundation is a foundation established on September 1, 2019, with the purpose of helping each individual or community become the best version of themselves through the management of body’s intelligence in releasing emotions, stress and pressures experienced in life due to various events such as natural disasters, loss, intimidation, riot, war and other tension that is accumulated both consciously and unconsciously such as problems at school, households, parenting, competition, etc.

In helping the community, SHAKA Foundation uses the Tension and Stress Releasing Exercise (TRE) method which has spread across more than 60 countries. This method uses the body’s intelligence to get to its optimal point. SHAKA Foundation is a foundation originated in Indonesia with a long-term goal to become a global community facilitators with the existing TRE network.

With the TRE method, SHAKA Foundation can help the community to restore their self-confidence so they become more relaxed and calm. Someone can be more confident, avoid psychosomatic problems and trouble sleeping, be able to make peace with themselves, not get angry easily, and be wiser and good at solving problems.

About TRE

TENSION AND STRESS RELEASING EXERCISE (TRE) METHOD

Tension & Trauma Releasing Exercises (TRE) was created by DR. David Berceli. TRE is a technique using the body’s intelligence to release stress, tension in the body, pressures and emotions that have long been accumulated in the human body by allowing the body to shake or vibrate. Everyone should naturally shake/vibrate when the body feels stressed, for example when being scared. The condition of body that trembles when being scared is the body’s response to the rapid rise of adrenaline in human bloodstream, so that these vibrations help reduce the massive impulse of adrenaline. The problem is, due to the lack of understanding of this concept, we often stop the vibrations that occur in our body, even though our body still tries to do it to release excessive adrenaline to return to a calm state.

The TRE technique is very safe and can be done by anyone, because of its simple nature. However, TRE practices need to be carried out under the supervision of certified trainers. This is important as a prelude to recognizing our bodies safely, because the effects of vibrations or vibrating experiences that appear on everyone are always different.

Globally, TRE has spread across more than 60 countries and Indonesia is the 36th country to apply TRE techniques. TRE was brought to Indonesia in 2013 by Hindra Gunawan as the Founder of TRE Indonesia as well as the first person to become a Global Certified TRE Provider in Indonesia. TRE Training has spread over 40 cities in Indonesia to date and is carried out by 16 Providers (certified TRE trainers) who have joined TRE Indonesia. Until now, there have been more than 500 TRE workshops batches with a total of more than 10,000 participants.
